Solamente Natural Plaster was founded in 2006 by Kent and Sally Gurley, seasoned professionals (well beyond salt and pepper!) with extensive backgrounds in green products, construction, design, and color. Kent and Sally have long had a passion for transforming interior spaces and natural plasters have proven to be a perfect vehicle for expressing their passion. Solamente has applied over 1 million square feet of clay and lime plasters!
Solamente has developed unique solutions for troubled areas and goes the extra mile to be sure your walls are finished properly and consistently. Solamente uses American Clay Earth Plasters as basic products, then diligently researches the “best practices” to create the most beautiful and durable walls possible. Solamente is now combining clay plasters with lime to enhance their beauty and durability. Solamente cares about your home or office as though it was their own - when the job is done, clean up is completed and the trash is taken away. Projects are completed on time and as proposed.

Enjarre is the coarsest American Clay Plaster. The finish is a more flat look with more subtle variations than Loma. Solamente’s Enjarre is burnished to be smooth to the touch and free of sand.
ClayStone is Solamente’s version of lime-washed clay plaster. Two coats of Loma plaster followed by two coats of lime wash applied and burnished creating a lustrous, highly differentiated look. The lime wash makes the surface quite hard and moisture resistant.

Solamente Service
Solamente works with clients to select just the right color and texture to enhance their space. Solamente provides free estimates in a timely manner. Solamente produces their own samples for your approval. Solamente Clay Walls believes in service after the sale. Experience has taught that successful businesses and products are all about relationships. In this spirit, all Solamente customers receive ONE YEAR FREE TOUCH UP for minor nicks and dings. We work with each customer to teach them how to live with clay plaster walls. Each customer receives a repair kit with plasters and tools.
Solamente Finishes
ClayCrete is a finish perfected by Solamente. It incorporates lime into a blended clay plaster and yields a beautiful, smooth, durable finish. The lime addition a harder finish that has a natural luster and resistance to moisture.
Loma is the classic clay plaster developed by American Clay. At Solamente the loma finish has a warm suede-like appearance accented by subtle variations that occur with the burnishing at the end of the process. The finish is smooth to the touch and free of any loose sand.
Porcelina is the finest plaster American Clay makes. Solamente produces beautiful, smooth walls with Porcelina. The burnishing brings out more variation than Loma and produces areas of light and dark of chosen color.
Lime finishes by Solamente range from smooth to ultra smooth and are the hardest of the options. There is a range of looks similar to the clay plaster finishes, and natural lime plaster shares many of the same attributes as clay.
